Roe deer fawn nestled in the bracken and bluebells

A recent dormouse survey in our woodland at Paccombe Farm came up with a resounding zero signs of dormice, but a wonderful surprise lying near a sweet chestnut tree!

Town Barton let loose this Spring

It was great to travel to Town Barton this April, one of eight farms owned by The Donkey Sanctuary in Devon, and home to over 250 rescued mules and donkeys. The farm is nestled in the rolling hills of Tedburn St Mary near Exeter, where you can see spectacular views of Devonshire countryside for miles around.

What a super weekend!

As it was such a special day for me to meet you all, I booked myself in at our donkey and mule salon. I treated myself to the full works as now I’m a celebrity I have to keep up my appearance.
