Lallu was hit by an autorickshaw while carrying a load (sand) along the busy lane near Ellisbridge in Ahmedabad from the riverbed to the construction site.

This donkey, called Jeeva, met with an accident hit by a vehicle on the busy Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway near Adalaj, Ahmedabad on Christmas Day 2007.

Thanks to the Sanctuary’s Ahmedabad project, I was able to support an entire family through a difficult time.
