Ramesh Kumar is our Ahmedabad Project Co-Ordinator where he runs both the Sanctuary's stationary and mobile clinics in the Gujarat region of India. At the moment he is here in the UK spending time with our veterinary department picking up hints and tips to take back with him to our project in India in December.

Last week I was filming at our rescue centre in Spain, El Refugio Del Burrito, for the European chapter of our new Donkey Sanctuary promotional DVD which is due to be launched during May 2009.

My trip to Mexico is over and I'm back home in Sidmouth. I shed a tear on the plane as I definitely wanted to stay - to meet more of the donkeys, more of the people, to find out more from the teams and to learn more about the Mexican culture.
