ITV Westcountry filming

You never know what the day can bring when working at The Donkey Sanctuary! Grooms at Hurfords

Leading up to International Donkey Week, everyone is mucking in to help each other here at the Sanctuary to get ready for the arrival of our supporters who will be spending a week visiting our farms and cuddling the donkeys.

A groom for an hour

Scrap

I'm always up for a challenge and today was no exception. Having a passion for donkeys, I would volunteer myself for just about anything to be able to be with the donkeys. This week I got the chance to become a volunteer groom!

Busy time of year

A stroll along a walkway

Walking around the Sanctuary today, it was lovely to see families with their children enjoying time with the donkeys during their school holidays.
