The Donkey Sanctuary is set in acres of tranquil, unspoilt farmland and countryside in East Devon’s Area of Outstanding Beauty. Free admission and we are open 365 days a year from 9am until dusk.

Our Sidmouth based sanctuary is a working farm, home to 500 donkeys in need of care. Come and visit our friendly donkeys, take part in our wide range of events and activities for all ages, or simply enjoy our miles of walks through some of Devon’s most beautiful countryside.

Visitor facilities include parking, restaurant, visitor centre, shop and nature centre.
