We are always so grateful to supporters who very kindly ask for donations to The Donkey Sanctuary in lieu of birthday presents, wedding gifts, anniversary gifts or Christmas presents.

Donations in lieu of flowers

Many people choose to remember a loved one by asking for donations as an alternative to sending flowers to a funeral. We can supply specially designed and designed pew envelopes which can be placed on pews prior to the service. Alternatively, you may wish to set up a special fundraising page in memory of your loved one.

Donations in memory

A memorial donation is a fitting way to remember a special person, while at the same time helping others.

There are two ways you can make memorial donations.

• Our Field of Dreams Funds are a special way to honour a loved one's memory and come to terms with their loss by keeping their spirit alive.

  They allow you to do something positive in the name of the person you have lost.

• You may like to make a one-off donation in memory towards our work in memory of a loved one.

Are you a UK taxpayer?

When making a donation, it would be helpful if you could inform us if you are a UK taxpayer to enable us to claim back money from the tax man through the Gift Aid Scheme by completing our gift aid declaration form.
