I was down at Paccombe Farm last week looking for a cheeky little donkey story for a national magazine. I met Frosty and caught her little antics on video. Thought I'd share it with you.
Frosty is 32 years of age and lives with our 'oldies' group on the farm and has been living here at the Sanctuary since 2003 when she was relinquished into our care.

How happy is sly Frosty dear
When his Kate's back is turned,
He opens doors with stealth it's clear
And good food to treat is waiting near!
It was fun to watch the great video and see Kate who I recognized from the DVD "The Donkey Sanctuary: 40 years on..." She was in my favorite segment entitled: The Magic of Donkeys. All the great cuddles and kisses she received from the Donkey in her lap was magical indeed!
Thank you Amanda, Kate and Frosty

we at the Aruban Donkey Sanctuary have our own Frosty. Her name is Tica and she can open almost any door or gate. Of course her goal is food. Hay or pellets, carrots or apples. We love her for that but also made some adjustments so she cannot go out for a stroll on the streets :) I enjoyed watching Frosty, one of the reason why I love donkeys so much! thanks for sharing
Aww poor Frosty...hope she got her brekkie eventually....
