We recently received a lovely letter from a Devon couple who for many years fostered donkeys as part of our foster scheme. Below Mr and Mrs Griffiths tell of their fostering experience in their own words.

Today is a special day for two very special donkeys. Not only are Rubin and Alan en route to their fantastic new foster home in Cheshire, but they are also the 150th and 151st donkeys this year to go out to loving, private homes as part of The Donkey Sanctuary’s foster scheme.

Two donkeys from The Donkey Sanctuary’s foster scheme are once more set to be the star attraction of Trelissick Garden’s ‘Christmas Donkeys’. The daily event is due to take place at the National Trust property near Truro between 17 – 23 December 2011.
