Dare to wear it pink!

Staff daring to wear pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and here at the Sanctuary staff have dared to wear pink today for the Breast Cancer Campaign. The turnout of staff on the Main Yard was wonderful as well as colourful. Having his photo taken with the ladies was 32 year old Jubilee, who loved all the attention!

Tansi Ash, from our HR department, said: I've been told that I am slightly over the top with my pink! My excuse is that I was helped as I dressed by my 9 year old daughter, (who adores pink), who then went to change what she was wearing so that she too was all in pink!"

Springtime daring to wear pink!

Even Springtime, one of our education and activities donkeys, was seen wearing pink today.

Sanctuary staff have actively been taking part in raising money for the Breast Cancer Campaign for four years.

During the month of October Gemini FM has found a unique way of highlighting the issue. "Women across Torbay are being urged to donate any unwanted bras."

With contributions from Sanctuary staff, Gemini FM are planning to ship all the undergarments they receive to the Third World to help ladies in underpriveleged communities.
