Last week both myself and Lady were in on a secret photo session as we were to star on the front of a birthday card. Our lovely groom, Emma, gave us a good brushing and even managed to remove all the straw tangled in my lovely long mane, so we were looking our best for the camera.

We didn't have long to wait before Dawn Vincent from the press office dropped by and started snapping away. Lady's pretty easy going, but me... well, I didn't know if my good side was on the right or left, so figured I would keep my options open by having my photo taken on both sides of Lady.

And who was the lucky birthday girl to receive a card with me and my friend on? None other than our owner Jenifer who comes and sees us just about every day. She told us when she got into the office on Tuesday, Dawn had put a picture of both me and Lady on her computer screen. Also wrapped up was a framed photo of us both as a present from the staff. She kept her birthday very quiet from us, so we'll have to give her an extra nudge when she drops in to see us!
