Teddy is the cleverest donkey I think I've ever met! He has a real talent for causing mischief and I experienced this first hand during a recent visit to Woods Farm, where our Family Barn Dance and BBQ is being held later in the year.
A bit of background first… We took Teddy and his friend Winnie into our care last year, as the owners could no longer keep them and wanted to ensure their future was safe. Teddy is the 9,972nd donkey helped out by our charity and now has a Sanctuary for life.
He's 16 years old, light grey in colour (one of the most popular donkey colours) and, as he is a little overweight, currently lives in a special group for donkeys that need managed diets.
Whilst a picture is worth a thousand words, these two video clips leave me speechless as to why I think he is the cleverest donkey at the Sanctuary… (and I'd love to hear if you agree with me or not!)

How come Teddy isn't one of the Donkeys you can adopt ? Oh well, looks I will have to adopt Donk Dean when I paid off my bills.
Teddy would be an ideal Adoption Donkey as he is so full of character. In fact it is our sister charity, The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys, that operate an Adopt a Donkey Scheme. Selected donkeys that enjoy the work are based at centres around the country providing riding therapy for children with special needs. Perhaps the Donkey Sanctuary needs an adoption scheme specially for all those rogues like Teddy that cause havoc here!!! Many thanks for your support to us.
