We're pleased to announce the launch of a new website for our rescue centre in Spain called El Refugio del Burrito, based at Fuente de Piedra. Since opening in 2003, the centre now has 173 rescued or abandoned donkeys in its care and has branched out to provide donkey-riding therapy to over 200 children.

Thank you to all the hard work put into creating a fascinating and beautiful new website. I have enjoyed learning about this new Sanctuary environment. And oh, many new beautiful Donkeys to love! I wish all success and the best is yet to come, I just know it. How wonderful for the Sanctuary to have such dedication.

We were lucky enough to visit the Spanish sanctuary earlier this year and were so impressed with the whole place and the dedication of the staff there. We very much hope to go back again sometime in the future.
