25 years to this day, Ray and Heather took their wedding vows and to mark their Silver Wedding Anniversary, they came along to become donkey carers for the day. Having supported the Sanctuary for many years, it was also their first visit.

For the day, Heather cared for Daragh, easily recognisable from the group of donkeys as his ears are always horizontal rather than upright! Ray was joined by Barney, who enjoyed being groomed and fed before going on a donkey walk.

It was definitely a good day for Ray as he also won the donkey weighing competition!
