Here at The Donkey Sanctuary we aim to prevent cruelty and suffering among donkeys and mules anywhere in the world and to ensure their welfare needs come first, second and third.

This newly released DVD narrated by our founder, Dr Elisabeth Svendsen, has been produced to commemorate the Sanctuary's 40th anniversary to help raise awareness of our work.

In the 40 years we have been running, so much has changed and this is the best way of seeing what goes on behind the scenes of, what is now, the largest donkey sanctuary in the world.

The DVD has a run time of 1hour 22 minutes and includes eight chapters. It's now available to buy from our online giftshop for £11.50 including postage and packaging.
