Rebecca has been a supporter of the Sanctuary for many years. When her mother, Valerie, passed away Rebecca embraced the spirit of Field of Dreams Funds wholeheartedly. There seems to be no end to her ingenuity in raising funds in memory of her late mother.

Local children raised money to buy a tree in memory of Valerie by washing cars, weeding, gardening and doing odd jobs. The tree was planted in Rebecca's garden and they even had money to spare; they asked that it be used to help donkeys through the Valerie Parris Field of Dreams Fund. In fact she is so dedicated she organised a sponsored diet and raised an impressive £300 towards the Fund.

Field of Dreams Funds are a special way to honour a loved one's memory and come to terms with their loss by keeping their spirit alive. They allow you to do something positive in the name of the person you have lost.
