Dealing with bereavement is obviously a very sensitive issue and we are always mindful of this when corresponding with our supporters. We did, however, have a chuckle when Susan Addison sent us her special memories of her late mother Kathleen Hardy:

"I don't suppose my mum would be too pleased to know that she was being compared to a donkey, but in a way there is a lot in common. She was gentle and kind, patient - but could be stubborn, hard working and didn't expect too much from life..."

She sounds like a very special lady indeed.
