Love both webcams but - would be nice to see the donkeys with the view down the valley behind them again, occasionally.

Be good to see down the valley occasionally - especially while it's snowing - donkeys in the snow bound to be picturesque and cute.
I agree with Steve, but in the winter the donkeys don't go in the field, so during the winter months I think the webcam in the yard is better as there is more chance of seeing the donkeys.
It would be nice to hear the donkeys again, listning to the sound is as good as being there !!! when you live a long way off. so can the sound be turned on again?
Thanks to all those who have expressed a wish for the webcam sound to be switched back on.
The sound was turned on for our special candlelight evening that took place earlier in December so that our supporters around the world could join us for the occasion.

The candlelight evening was splendid, but I am among those who would like to hear the sounds of the donkey's brays, snorts, grunts, and foot shuffling. Why not give us an hour a week, perhaps on a weekend, after visiting hours (so as to avoid the sound broadcasts from becoming a vehicle for religious or political pronouncement)?
I agree that the outside web cam is better in the yard, much more chance of seeing the donkeys there during the winter.
