I am delighted to add this new film of Ashley to the website but I must tell you it is a little out of date due to some technical problems I have had! Even though it was originally filmed in mid-November, it is well worth watching as it includes a chat with Elena (Ashley’s vet), some very cute slurping noises as Ashley tucks into his bowl of warmed milk, a guest appearance of Ashley’s friend, Mr Khan, trying to get in on the action, and the tell-tale sign when Ashley has finished his breakfast!
So like I say, better late than never! I hope you enjoy viewing this short film and look forward to hearing your comments, which I love reading by the way!

Lovely lovely video of such a brave little donkey he is just too cute for words bless him.
Just watched the latest video of Ashley and I am glad his tummy problem has sorted. He is so lovely you just want to cuddle him!!!!!! He is a lucky chap to have such loving carers, keep up the good work

Thank you Dawn and Elena for the wonderful video of Ashley. He is fast becoming a favorite of mine. I know you said he will have to learn to distance himself from humans somewhat, but when I see him I think only of the lines from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" that are: What is your will?, Wilt thou hear some music, my sweet love?, Or say, sweet love, what thou desirest to eat...I could munch your good dry oats. Methinks I have a great desire to a bottle of hay; good hay, sweet hay, hath no fellow...Sleep thou, and I will wind thee in my arms.
Oh, how I love thee!

What a wonderful little lad, so rewarding for all you hard working carers, doing the feeds at all hours of the night, he's a credit to you all. I would love to come and see him before too long. Who's the little friend in the stall in the background, looks very keen to help Ashley finish off that 'last little bit'.

Hi Andrew
The little foal in the background trying to help Ashley finish off his milk is Mr Khan. I was over with all the foals last week taking photos and it was a real pleasure watching them run around their field, playing around as youngsters do!
Check out the latest images of the foals in our photo gallery.

Thank you for the update and video of Ashley. I am very happy to see that Ashley is well- I was worried. He is so cute! It is funny how one can come to care for a fuzzy little donkey who lives an ocean away.
So cute.
Hope and love from Sweden!
Am so glad Ashley is doing better, what a gorgeous little man. If he goes missing he's at my place! Well done all of you and a merry christmas.x
