This year we will be holding our annual Donkey Summer Fair on Sunday 15th August 2010 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Last year we attracted thousands of visitors who thoroughly enjoyed themselves among the many stalls, games and activities which included donkey cart rides and donkey riding displays by some of the children with special needs and disabilities who attend our sister charity, the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys (EST) centre in the grounds of the Sanctuary.

We were able to raise a large amount of money for both The Donkey Sanctuary and EST, which was an enormous help to the two charities in the UK, and helped fund the Sanctuary's overseas work, where help for donkeys is desperately needed.

Several supporters also ran tombolas and other stalls to raise funds for our two charities, which were much appreciated.

This year we will be having:

• Large craft tent
• Donkey cart rides
• Face painting
• Tea-cup ride
• Bouncy castle
• ... and much more

We're also holding a fun dog show, so bring along your dog to enter into the competition!
