We are currently looking for an Area Welfare Officer to cover the regions of Derbyshire and Cheshire. The successful applicant will be working as part of a regional team providing support, care and advice to any donkey or mule owners within the two counties.

The successful applicant must be a resident within either county and hold a full driving licence as they will be carrying out routine visits to foster homes and will inspect potential new homes and establishments.

The ideal applicant will have good knowledge of equines and must be able to prioritise and plan their own workload successfully.

This role is permanent and based on a variable hours contract. Applicants must therefore be able to work flexibly.

The successful applicant will be required to use their own vehicle and will be able to claim travel expenses at an agreed rate.
