The World of Forever: A Memorial Anthology of Quotations from the Minack Chronicles (Hardcover)

I am acquainted with the Minack Chronicles because of my association with The Donkey Sanctuary in Devon, UK. I had not, however, read any of the books, being located myself in the USA. Until now. I thought this anthology would be a good introduction to these wonderful sounding books and I was not disappointed. Nature truly sang to Derek and Jeannie. To him, the secrets of their Cornish life unfolded with not the eye of a biologist, but that of an artist. You see their life and love of the animals they shared it with through the eyes of one who sees delicate unions and future harmonies. The writing is done through simple grace wedded with dignity. I shall treasure the glimpse into "forever" in all ways.
