Sebastian, Dennis and Ned were three lucky donkeys chosen by Jackie, Abbey and Katie to join their 'hen party' here at the Sanctuary to help celebrate the forthcoming wedding of Jackie and Jamie on Saturday 28th August 2010 at Christchurch Priory, Dorset.

Jackie is no stranger to donkeys as she owns two called Stanley and Henry, both 18 months old. Having lost one of her horses last year at the grand old age of 37, she wanted to get some company for her other horse as he wasn't very happy on his own. Having always wanted to have a pair of donkeys, it seemed the ideal opportunity not to be missed.

Jackie, Abbey and Katie really got into the spirit of being donkey carers for the day which includes grooming, feeding and exercising their donkeys, making name collars and mucking out their stables!

Having cracked open the champagne we gave them each a framed photograph of their very special day here at the Sanctuary, together with 'goodie bags' as a momento.

We wish Jackie and Jamie all the very best on their wedding day.
