You may be wondering why it has taken us so long to get a hot water system fitted. For our supporters who have visited Paccombe Farm during International Donkey Week, you will be aware that the buildings are quite old so careful thought and preparation had to go into the best location to fit the water tank.
Sadly, since the appeal we lost poor Muffin earlier in the year due to arthritis. However, he continued to have his daily 'cup of tea' until the very end. Thanks to Muffin's persistence, the hot water tank is a great success and the donkeys now have an unlimited supply of warm water to drink. Although summer is just around the corner, we have found that some of our older residents still like their 'daily cuppa' even on a hot day. The system is going to be priceless to us all at Paccombe Farm.
Muffin has left a lasting trail of donkeys tapping on the door for a drink so we have decided to name the tank after him in his memory.
