On 21 March 2012, Kathryn Brady from Lanarkshire was banned from keeping equines for three years and ordered to complete 170 hours community service after pleading guilty to the neglect of 19 animals including donkeys and ponies. The four surviving donkeys were signed over to The Donkey Sanctuary after their rescue, and are now safe in our care.
