An excellent video on our donkey welfare work in Kenya has been made by an American freelance journalist called Jill Craig. She became interested in our work after meeting Jean Gilchrist, Director of the Kenya Society for the Protection and Care of Animals, which was our implementing partner organisation for improving donkey welfare from 1994 until the creation of The Donkey Sanctuary Kenya in 2011, and continues to be a close collaborative partner.
After talking to Jean about our work, Jill was so fascinated that she asked if she could film some of our staff out in the field. She also interviewed Jean on camera. Her video appeared on the US website Voice of America, which covers news from all over the world.
