The tram, train and donkey story

Just before International Donkey Week (8th to 15th May) I was involved in a fantastic project launch of the ‘Passport to Lyme Bay’ – an initiative positively bringing together Pecorama, Seaton Tramway and The Donkey Sanctuary.

Just before International Donkey Week (8th to 15th May) I was involved in a fantastic project launch of the ‘Passport to Lyme Bay’ – an initiative positively bringing together Pecorama, Seaton Tramway and The Donkey Sanctuary.

This picture of a miniature steam locomotive, tram and our beautiful donkey Mopsy was taken in Seaton, a short distance from the Sanctuary, on Friday 4th May to mark the start of our unique venture. It’s such a rare picture to see a tram, train and donkey all together!

The passport, I hear you ask, is essentially a discount voucher book that enables visitors to explore all three attractions and save money during their visits. It includes free entry tickets to Pecorama and Seaton Tramway and a free treat at our restaurant.

The Passport to Lyme Bay is only produced on purchase of a ticket at Pecorama and Seaton Tramway, or when spending over £5 in our gift shop.

The great news is that this initiative will run until Sunday 4th November 2012 so there is plenty of time for you to plan your trip to come and see our adorable donkeys, and a few trams and trains too.
