The Donkey Sanctuary’s Manchester centre is inviting visitors to share in its Diamond Jubilee celebrations this weekend.

The centre in Abbey Hey will be open every day of the Bank Holiday weekend from 10am to 3pm for visitors to meet the donkeys and enjoy delicious royal tea and cakes. There will also be plenty of family friendly activities for the whole family to get involved with.

The centre is one of six located around the UK run by The Donkey Sanctuary to provide riding therapy to over 1,000 children from locals schools and hospices every week. Services are provided free of charge and the centre relies upon public donations as it does not receive any government funding.
