Mexico education team

This week, I'm here in Mexico gathering stories for various publications back in the UK to spread the news about our work.

Today I have been to Chaputepec Zoo, in the heart of Mexico City where I have met the Education Team who put on regular puppet shows for the children. The show told the story of a donkey who had run away after he had been beaten by his owner.

After the show, I talked to several of the children who said that they really enjoyed the show and had learnt that donkeys needed to be treated well and that they must have food and something to drink - a great success!

The Education Team also had pictures of donkeys that the children could colour in and make mobiles, it was really good fun.

Mums and dads also joined in the session too by rubbing their heads and tummies with a song about poorly donkeys.
