Amanda Gordon from our press office visited Tacita, who is now a beautiful donkey, in July 2008.

Tacita survived against all odds. She was attacked by wild dogs which left her with a serious wound on her head resulting in her right ear being removed by Omar the vet. The saddest thing of all is that Tacita's mother died in the attack - if only we could save all the donkeys.
