Paccombe Farm donkeys

Paccombe Farm, managed by Neil Coles, lies in the hamlet of Harcombe, which is separated from Slade House Farm by just two miles.

It boasts 38 hectares (93 acres) of stunning woodland and over 33 hectares (81 acres) of land for the donkeys. It is very sheltered and close to the specialist facilities we have at Slade House Farm, making it ideally suited to our older donkeys with various special needs.

The farm was purchased in 1978 and later, in 1993, we opened our specialised Training Centre. Each year the centre typically co-ordinates over 100 free courses for donkey owners on donkey care, health care and behaviour as well as bespoke training days for equine welfare organisations, schools, colleges, vets and farriers.
