Thank you Dawn Vincent for the incredible story of cruelty and redemption for the Donkeys in Spain. It surely is a place sown in tears. I thought the horrors and depths of pain had been reached when I wrote my poems, "The Donkey's Inferno" and "Hope is a Donkey". All the world should be thankful for El Refugio del Burrito, and The Donkey Sanctuary.

After watching the "Rescued donkeys are shining bright" video blog, I have become a huge Tim the pony fan!

Highlights include Tim trying to take centre stage and playing with his feed ball, I then find myself starting to wonder when he is going to appear next?

I cannot wait for Tim to arrive in Devon so I can meet him - are there any other Tim fans out there?

As it's coming up to our wedding anniversary, Tina (my wife) has given me my present now. As we're going on holiday in 2 weeks time, she wanted me to have it now so I could see it when down at Weymouth .... well it's The Donkey Sanctuary, Sidmouth, Devon. Yes she had adopted me an EST donkey called Busby.

I finally had the privilege of watching the new video, "The Donkey Sanctuary 40 years on...".

I've just see the short footage of the new addition to the family. Thank you for posting the film, what an immense pleasure to see them both looking wonderful and healthy.

How is Mene? When i visited the other week she was not happy as she had lost her friend. I hope she is now feeling better and making a new friend. Anybody visiting give her an extra cuddle and fuss from me.
