Regular donations are especially helpful in enabling us to predict what money we have available - but all donations enable us to continue our work both here in the UK and overseas.

The Gift Aid Scheme allows The Donkey Sanctuary and our sister charity, the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys, to claim the tax back from the Inland Revenue on any donation from our supporters, as long as they are UK tax payers.

You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying us.

Payroll giving is a unique way for people to give regularly to The Donkey Sanctuary. It allows employees, or occupational pensioners, to give money directly from their pay, before tax is deducted.

All donations given in this way are tax effective so The Donkey Sanctuary receives your donation and the tax you would have paid on this amount.

We are always so grateful to supporters who very kindly ask for donations to The Donkey Sanctuary in lieu of birthday presents, wedding gifts, anniversary gifts or Christmas presents.
