Many of the boundary tracks around the donkeys' fields have tree-lined walkways to help create a wind barrier for the donkeys and to provide additional habitat for wildlife.
A plaque in memory of your loved one can be placed beside a tree on one of these walkways.
A plaque measures 6" x 4" and is black with white lettering. It has a fine line border and incorporates a donkey motif and the year it was put in place. The plaque is mounted on a wooden plinth and placed beside a tree.
We take great care in tending our tracks and footpaths and only occasionally have to replace damaged trees or plaques. The trees are fairly young when first planted so that they develop good, strong roots.
The trees are planted with a plastic membrane beneath bark chippings to prevent weeds, therefore we do not recommend the planting of other species around the trees. For a small donation, we can plant bulbs of native spring flowers around the base of the tree.
In order to preserve the ambience of the natural surroundings, we do not encourage ornaments or artificial flowers. Ashes may be scattered by arrangement; we would recommend early morning. We are unable to accommodate ash casket burials.
Cost: minimum donation of £350
