A free 'donkey care' workshop has been arranged by The Donkey Sanctuary at Shuttleworth College in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, on Saturday 18th July from 10am to 4pm for donkey owners.

Around 15 donkeys will be checked by welfare and veterinary experts from the Sidmouth-based Donkey Sanctuary and officials from Scarborough Borough Council, to ensure the donkeys are fit, healthy and licensed to work for the coming holiday season.
